Risk Management and Insurance for Building Professionals
Thursday, February 25, 2021 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Today’s builders face a liability insurance crisis. Coverage has become scarce, expensive and restrictive. In this environment, builders must use comprehensive risk management strategies to reduce construction risks and other exposures. From overarching principles to practical solutions on obtaining the most competitive insurance quotes, this course gives you the tools you need to manage your risk.

As a graduate of this course, you will be able to:

  • Grasp and apply insurance terminology
  • Use non-insurance risk management strategies
  • Recognize the basics of the types of insurance coverage that you need
  • Structure company insurance and risk management programs with help from your brokers and counsel

This course provides six hours of continuing education credits for these NAHB designations: CAPS, CGA, CGB, CGP, CGR, CMP, CSP, GMB, GMR, Master CGP, Master CSP and MIRM.
